Day 12: Write about 5 blessings in your life.

Well, ‘blessing’ is not a word I typically use because I’m an atheist and… it seems that people always feel ‘blessed’ because of some higher power. But… I’ll give it a try.

Washington (upper left corner)- Plate tectonics and other geologic processes have blessed me with this beautiful scenery, which I have decided to call ‘home’.

Friends (lower left corner)- Some great people decided to procreate and bless me with some super awesome friends (not all pictured here!). Thank you parents-of-my-friends, for spawning and raising some super rad humans who like me back. It’s difficult, but y’all are the best and I’m so appreciative of you putting up with my shenanigans.

The Boss-man (upper left corner)- Some other great humans blessed me with a boss-man. And he has blessed me by not only signing my paychecks every 15 days but also by being the best boss ever. He is always supportive of me, let’s me whine about my uterus for hours on end, let’s me correct his terrible spelling, and even introduced me to a lovely cow which he then slaughtered. Managing me is a 24/7 job. And boss-man does it best.

Bandon Laydon (middle left)- Some irresponsible dog owners let their bitch get knocked up but blessed me by leaving her offspring at the pound. Enter, Bandon Laydon. I love you, I love you, I love you! (Even if you have destroyed 4 doors and a window this year and have also somehow contracted worms…)

CDHJ (bottom right)- I’m super lucky the universe has blessed me with the chance to hang out with the coolest human I have ever met. Also, he blesses me with food!
